A multi-vehicle collision involving six vehicles occurred on the Calapor flyover at Bambolim on Tuesday morning. The incident was attributed to the presence of stray cattle on the road, which triggered a chain reaction of events.
According to reports, the chaos ensued when a scooterist abruptly applied the brakes, setting off a series of collisions involving all six vehicles trailing behind. Among the vehicles caught in the melee was a KTC electric bus, further complicating the situation.
Despite the severity of the collision, the people involved sustained only minor injuries. However, the vehicles bore the brunt of the impact, sustaining significant damage in the process.
Tragic incidents in Goa have been on the rise recently, with a number of fatalities previously attributed to the presence of stray cattle on the roads.
