Senior BJP leader and Mapusa MLA Francis D’Souza on Monday hit out at the BJP leadership, after he was dropped from the Cabinet by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

Speaking to reporters from USA, where he is seeking medical treatment, D’Souza said: “I was not taken into confidence on any such decision (to drop me as minister). I tried calling Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday, but he did not respond to my call.” “However today, he called me and informed me about the party high command decision (to drop me as minister). This is the reward for my 20 years of loyalty to the party,” said D’Souza.
