Thousands of devotees participated in the lantern procession along the entire route from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel, Telaulim to Our Lady of Rosary Church, Navelim marking the commencement of the first day of the 10-day novenas of the feast of Our Lady of Rosary.
The feast of Our Lady of Rosary will be celebrated on November 20.
The entire route was decked up with illuminated arcs even as devotees joined the procession with lanterns. The procession which started from the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel, Telaulim at 3.30 am finally wend its way to Navelim, culminating in the first Novena mass at the Rosary school compound at 5 am.
The schedule for Novena Mass is: 5:15 am, 6:30 am, 7:45 am and 9:00 am. There will be evening Novena Mass at 6 followed by Salve. Everyday, Rosary will be said at 4:45 am and 5:30 pm. Priests will be available for confessions on Novena days from 6:15 am to 9:00 am and 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The schedule for Feast Day Mass is: 5:00 am, 6:15 am, 7:30 am, 8:45 am, 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
