The navy chief is on a five-day visit to Goa and he was received by Rear Admiral Punit K Bahl, Flag Officer Commanding Goa Naval Area on his arrival on April 20. During his visit, Admiral Lanba interacted with officers of the Goa Naval Area and was briefed on various aspects of the Goa Naval Area. Admiral Lanba inaugurated a new aircraft hangar at INS Hansa.
The visit of Chief of the Naval Staff to the Goa Naval Area will be followed by a conclave at Naval War College, INS Mandovi on April 23 and 24, prior to departure for Delhi.
