Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo on Friday said that he never encouraged any illegal constructions nor did he ever go out of his way to help any BJP worker to carry out any illegality.
Stung by The Goan report on the alleged transfer of the Moira’s panchayat secretary, the Aldona MLA said that he was always against any illegality and corruption.
“I have always discouraged illegality in my constituency and I am against any sort of corruption. Whenever people come to me with some work that is not within the law, I have directed them to approach authorities concerned,” Ticlo said.
The Aldona MLA took pains to explain that there was not a blot of accusation of any illegality or corruption against him in the last four years that he has been a legislator.
He also said that the so-called resolution by the panchayat members, not to relieve the secretary, had never reached him nor to the door of the minister concerned.
But sources have stuck to their version that illegalities were taking place in Aldona and that the resolution not to transfer the panchayat secretary was also forwarded to the MLA.
