Elections to the Managing Committee of Comunidade of Dicarpale were held on Sunday.
The elections were conducted by Ubaldina Rodrigues (Escrivao) under supervision of Anil P. Naik, UDC in the Salcete Mamlatdar office.
The following were declared elected: President: Savio Joaquim Filipe Correia. Attorney: Celestino A. Noronha. Substitute Attorney: Roshal Fernandes (unopposed). Treasurer: Silvestre Niasso.
They defeated the opposition panel of Fatima Rocha, Camilo Barreto (sitting Attorney), and Leoncio Raikar (45-42).
