CURCHOREM: A newborn baby girl died during delivery at a residence at Dudal-Kalay, Sanguem.
Curchorem Police on Tuesday evening received a phone call from duty doctor at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Sanguem informing that a newly born baby girl was brought dead to PHC Sanguem.
Speaking to The Goan, Curchorem PI Shivram Vaingankar informed that the body of the newly born baby girl was taken to PHC Sanguem.
Curchorem Police conducted inquest Panchanama and the post-mortem report confirmed that the newborn died during delivery, which took place at home without doctors' supervision. No foul play was suspected, informed Vaingankar.
