Noted city-based gynaecologist Dr Baburao Y Prabhudesai passed away on Sunday afternoon. He was 62 and is survived by wife Anjur, son Dr Yeshwant Prabhudesai and daughter Dr Samrudhi.
Sources said Dr Prabhudesai’s mortal remains will be kept at the Yashodhan hospital, Aquem, for people to pay their last respect at 9 am on Monday. Thereafter, the mortal remains will be taken to his native village Cotambi-Quepem for last rites at 3 pm.
One of the leading gynaecologists of the city, Dr Baburao had established the Yashodhan hospital around a decade ago.
