MARGAO
A week after the Goa Forward Ministers were unceremoniously dropped from the government, GF Chief Vijai Sardesai on Sunday took on Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, terming him as a man without vision and for resorting to unethical practice of misleading the central leadership and making the local cadre believe that decisions have the sanction of the Centre.
After returning from the national capital, where he was believed to have called on political leaders, mostly aligned to the National Democratic Alliance, the outgoing Deputy Chief Minister in the Pramod Sawant government further said that the government decision to drop Goa Forward ministers from the Cabinet will have huge ramifications at the national level, going to the extent of saying that the version of Goemkarponn promoted by the Sawant government has created distrust amongst the NDA allies.
‘I was in Delhi and I had called on many political leaders, mostly members of the NDA and they have all been taken aback and the action has made them watch their back”, he said adding ‘I think the government and the people heading it has started a new technique to go to Delhi to mislead the Centre and come back and say the decisions have the sanction of the Centre. This is not only unethical but immoral”.
He said the government has adopted the new modus operandi as it is a government without any vision and a government that is only reading the constitution of the previous Chief Minister, but at the same time is going about dismantling Manohar Parrikar’ s legacy day in and out.
