A group of citizens from Nuvem village on Wednesday submitted a complaint to the Maina Curtorim police station demanding that the three MLAs, Mauvin Godinho, Sankalp Amonkar and Krishna Salkar should be booked as co-conspirators in the Gautam Kattar case.
A delegation led by Johnny Fernandes, Pausilipo Dourado and others submitted the complaint to the Maina Curtorim police station incharge, PI Kapil Nayak.
They later told the media that the government should immediately arrest accused Gautam Kattar for making derogatory statements against St Francis Xavier.
He said the three MLAs should be booked as co-conspirators by the police.
Condemning the statement made by accused Gautam Kattar directed against St Francis Xavier, Pausilipo Dourado said the accused should be arrested forthwith. “We have also demanded that the police also book Mauvin Godinho, Sankalp Amonkar and Krishna Salkar as the co-conspirators”, he said.
