I wish to place on record my sincere appreciation for the government of Goa and all concerned authorities for ensuring the peaceful and well-organized conduct of the recent Shirgao zatra.The festival, revered by thousands of devotees, was managed with remarkable efficiency and discipline. The meticulous planning, effective crowd control, and visible presence of law enforcement personnel contributed greatly to maintaining order and safety throughout the event. Equally noteworthy were the arrangements for cleanliness, traffic management, and public convenience, which enabled devotees to participate in the festivities without difficulty. The coordinated efforts of various departments reflect a strong commitment to preserving Goa’s rich cultural traditions while prioritizing public welfare. Such exemplary management of a large religious gathering deserves recognition and appreciation. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the government of Goa and all officials involved for their dedicated service.
