Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will take part in a series of public-oriented programmes in Sanquelim today, focusing on healthcare and student guidance. According to the official schedule, the Chief Minister will launch the ‘Health with Ayurveda’ camp at 9:30 am at the Goa College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science.
The initiative aims to promote preventive healthcare through traditional Ayurvedic practices, offering consultations, health assessments and awareness on lifestyle management. It encourages people to adopt natural and sustainable approaches to tackle conditions such as diabetes, obesity and women-related health issues.
At 10:45 am, Sawant will visit Progress High School to participate in the Career Jagor initiative. The programme is designed to guide Class 10 and 12 students in making informed academic and career choices. Teachers trained as Career Ambassadors will provide structured one-on-one counselling to help students identify suitable career pathways.
In the evening, at 5 pm, the Chief Minister will meet members of the public at Ravindra Bhavan, Sanquelim. Officials said the Ayurveda camp will also be held in Margao on April 25, with plans to expand it across the state in the coming weeks.
