Odisha native held at Anjuna

SALIGAO

Anjuna police arrested a native of Odisha and rescued two girls in connection with flesh trade in Anjuna.

Acting on the information from reliable source that girls will be supplied to customers near the petrol pump at Anjuna on Tuesday night, Anjuna Police deployed police staff in civil clothes at about 11 pm and nabbed the accused Rehan Khan, who is presently residing at Calangute.

The police also rescued two girls from West Bengal and were sent to a protective home at Merces.

The police produced the accused before the court and obtained seven days remand. Anjuna PI Paresh Naik is investigating the case.
