Anti Narcotic Cell of Goa Police on Thursday arrested one Saish Vaswade (24) from Curtorim for being in illegal possession of 2.66 kgs of ganja worth Rs 1.25 lakh in the international market. ANC team led by sub inspector Therron D Costa along with two panchas conducted a narcotics raid at a flat in Alianka Residency, Ralloi in Curtorim at around 11.45 am and caught the accused red-handed with suspected ganja and cash of Rs 70,000.

Vaswade has been booked under Section 20 (b) (ii) (B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 for possessing cannabis in quantity lesser than commercial quantity but greater than small quantity.
