CURCHOREM: Curchorem Police on Thursday booked a 25-year-old youth from Cacora on charges of ransacking articles at a religious place in Cacora.
Police have referred the accused to IPHB at Bambolim. According to Curchorem PSI Sanit Kavlekar, a resident from Cacora-Sawantwada complained that the accused trespassed into a Dargah at Cacora and ransacked articles, thereby hurting religious sentiments of the people.
The police booked the accused under Sections 448, 295, and 427 of IPC and later sent him to IPHB Bambolim. PSI Sanit Kavlekar is investigating the case.
