One person has been booked on charges of stabbing and abusing a couple at Palolem, Canacona late Tuesday night.
According to Canacona police, Vasu Pagi complained that he was stabbed by Sandeep Pagi of Palolem with a knife on his left side of his chest, causing him injuries.
Sandeep Pagi was also accused of assaulting the complainant’s wife, Vishaka, on her left wrist with the same knife causing injuries to her, besides abusing and threatening the couple.
Police have registered the complaint u/s 109 (1), 118 (2), 352, 351 (3) of BNS and further investigation is being conducted by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona Police Station.
