One commits suicide at Pontemol

A resident of Pontemol-Curchorem allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her bedroom on Tuesday evening.

According to sources from Curchorem police, Keya Bhise committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan using a dupatta.  
Sources informed that Keya spoke to her husband on cellphone, and when her father-in-law opened the bedroom door at about 4.30 pm, he found her hanging to a ceiling fan. He rushed Keya to Curchorem Community Health Centre, where the doctor declared her dead on arrival.  
When contacted, the police said there were no complaints or any fight and the couple was married for the last 
two years.  
Curchorem police registered the case as unnatural death and the body has been preserved, and the post mortem will be done 
on Wednesday. 
Police are conducting further investigations in the case.
