One drowns in Sancoale lake
CORTALIM: The body of a middle-aged man was fished out of Bandolem lake at Sancoale on Sunday morning.
According to the locals, the deceased Pramod Naik who is usually in an inebriated condition is suspected to have accidentally fallen from a parapet where he was resting on Saturday evening.
The incident came to light after some youth who were angling noticed a head of a man floating in the lake. Later, the villagers fished out the body. The cycle of the deceased was also found near the spot.
