The co-founder and partner of Observing I Ecotech, Charmaine Fernandes Sharma said that the company has been in touch with many states and was in the process of setting up such waste treatment plants in those states.

“On a pilot basis, we have demonstrated the process we undertake in treating waste in several states. We have shown a demonstration to the councilors of Mapusa too,” Sharma told The Goan.
She said the technology was new, but the technology has been certified as pollution free by pollution control boards of various states.
“We are on the task force for best practices in the India Sanitation coalition and also Swachh portal of the urban development ministry,”
she said.
She said in Goa, Mapusa the company was going to invest its own money to set up the plant and this was possible because the company was confident of its processes.
Stating that its waste treatment plant will run on ERT (Energy Recovery Technology) proprietary technology, she said the plant will convert non-segregated waste into a useful by-product.
“The plant will not create liquid effluent or any other tangible waste/residue,”
she added.
