Painting exhibition at Big Foot

PANAJI: A painting exhibition ‘Fragments’ by Karishma Alvares was inaugurated by Sarala Abreu Van Dover, a teacher of English literature at the Lincoln University, US, at the Big Foot art gallery, Loutolim.

"The 14 paintings on display are not connected by a single theme; they are quite literally flights of my fancy and are all representative of my particular style of painting. I am inspired by folk art and draw inspiration from the detailed patterns from various art forms all over India," said Karishma Alvares. The exhibition will remain open till July 25, from 9 am to 6 pm.
