Voting is scheduled for 10 March, while counting will take place on 13 March.

According to the notification, no liquor shall be transported from one place to another within the said jurisdiction during the specified period. The department has also directed that all licensed premises selling liquor must remain closed on these three days.

Owners have been instructed to prominently display a board stating that no liquor will be served and that only the restaurant is open for food service.

The notification also states the maximum quantity of liquor that any person, including family members, may possess within the notified area. The permitted limit is three quart bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) or foreign liquor other than beer, six bottles of beer of 650 ml each, and three quart bottles of country liquor.
