Mother of Maria Godinho, a 19-year-old girl from Altinho, on Friday registered a complaint at Panaji Town Police Station stating that her daughter is missing.
Acting on the complaint, Panaji police have registered an FIR against an unknown person under Section 364 (kidnapping) of IPC.
Police informed that the same girl was reported missing on at least two instances in the past as well and was returned to her parents safely.
PSI Damodar Shirodkar is investigating the case.
