PANAJI: The second access point of the Porvorim elevated corridor has been reopened on Thursday on a trial basis, allowing motorists travelling from Panaji towards Mapusa to enter the flyover from the Majestic side.
The reopening comes a day after the first access point was opened to traffic, providing relief to motorists travelling from Merces towards Porvorim, Calangute and other parts of North Goa.
The first access point allows vehicles coming from Merces to use the Atal Setu and exit near Hotel Neo Majestic before proceeding towards Porvorim, Calangute and other destinations in North Goa.
With the second access point now reopened, traffic travelling from Panaji towards North Goa can enter the elevated corridor from the Majestic side. Two-wheelers continue to remain barred from using the elevated corridor.
