The sarpanch and deputy sarpanch of Paroda panchayat were voted out of office in no-confidence motions on Friday.
Separate no-trust motions against sarpanch Manisha Naik and deputy sarpanch Deepak Kharangate were carried by 4-0 votes.
The signatories to the motion includes Shailesh Datta Jotkar, Paulina Fernandes, Joaquim Dias and Rajeshree Gaonkar. All the signatories were present at the meeting of the panchayat on Friday. The sarpanch, deputy sarpanch and one member were conspicuous by their absence.
Representative of Salcete, BDO Alexian Fernandes was the presiding officer.
