Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday briefed the Sanguem BJP Block volunteers to decide on the strategy for the assembly elections.
Parrikar's sudden visit surprised many BJP volunteers from Sanguem.
According to sources from the Sanguem BJP block, Parrikar had a closed-door meeting to brief, discuss and encourage BJP volunteers for the assembly elections.
All the contestants are campaigning and Sanguem BJP MLA Subhash Phaldessai is also campaigning in all the villages in Sanguem.
Some BJP volunteers informed that corner meetings are being convened in all wards, while door-to-door campaigning has been finished and soon there will be public meeting of the BJP.
