Parrikar warns Sanvordem BJP workers

PONDA: Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar has warned to initiate action against his party workers if they are involved in anti-party activities in Sanvordem constituency.

Addressing a corner meeting at Collem, Parrikar said BJP is a disciplined party and nobody should try to work against it.

Parrikar said he was optimistic that BJP will form the government in the State.

Sources informed that as few BJP workers were reportedly working against MLA Ganesh Gaonkar, Parrikar has warned them of action.

“MG Party leaders are opportunistic and always look for opportunity to remain in power. We should show a way home to such leaders in this assembly election,” he said.

Parrikar also criticized the Congress and said the presentsituationis not in its favour and not a single candidate of this party will be elected.

BJP State president Vinay Tendulkar, Sanvordem BJP Block president Ganpat Naik, Panchas Ramkrishna Gaonkar, Snehalata Naik, Kapil Naik, Kiran Mamlekar, Yashasvi Kavlekar, Veenda Devidas and BJP Mahila Morcha president Swati Usgaonkar were present.
