Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Tuesday said petrol rates applicable in Goa should be replicated in other states as well for the benefit of people.
He was reacting to the fuel station owners' demand for 'one nation one rate' for petroleum products in the country,
"Let all people benefit from the rates. I welcome the move to have 'one nation one rate' concept," Parsekar told reporters.
His reply came amidst the demand by fuel station owners in the country for adoption of 'one nation one rate' for petroleum products in order to eliminate disparity in prevailing prices of petrol and diesel.
