Parsekar hopes for margin of 6000 votes
PERNEM: Stating that Pernem people have never opted for those who rebel against their parties, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said the tradition would be repeated on February 4.
Speaking informally to media persons after the public campaign came to an end on Thursday, Parsekar said in Pernem taluka, both the constituency BJP candidates would win. “I will win by a margin of 6,000 votes and will be the Mandrem MLA for the fourth consecutive term,” he said.
“Self respectinig Pernem people never pardoned those who deserted their party for selfishness. In Mandrem constituency, rebel candidates never won the election. Pernem's BJP candidate Rajendra Arlekar and I will win the elections in Pernem taluka as we have done a lot of developmental works for the benefit of our voters,” he said.
