Similar petitions filed by the other two accused, then attorney of Comunidade of Serula Peter Martins and then Administrator of Comunidade of Bardez Irene
Sequeira, will also be heard along with Parulekar’s petition.
The HC on June 16 stayed the order of North Goa Principal District and Sessions Court issuing summons to the former tourism minister in the matter while fixing the matter on Tuesday for reply of the police investigating team. The HC has now ordered for continuation of the interim relief till July 3.
The court had previously issued process in the case against Parulekar and the other two accused.
Pointing out that Parulekar had cheated Comunidade of Serula and the public at large, the court order had stated that Peter Martins and Irene Sequeira were public servants and they have intentionally and knowingly facilitated the commission of the offence when it was their duty to prevent the offence and that the three had criminally
conspired.
