Paschim Rang on Dec 17, 18

PANAJI: A programme of western classical music and jazz by world renowned performers from Germany, Belgium besides national-level Indian performers will be held on December 17 and 18, in the first edition of 'Paschim Rang' (Colours of the West) at the Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Kala Academy at Panaji.

The festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, on December 17, at 5.45 pm. Deputy CM Francis D’Souza and Art and Culture Minister Dayanand Mandrekar will be the guests of honour. Sushant Khedekar, vice chairman of Kala Academy and Prasad Lolayekar, member secretary will also be present.

The festival is supported by Auswartiges Amt and Goethe Institute. The festival will be held in 7 sessions over the afternoon on Dec 17 and full day on December 18.
