Pedestrian from Goa Velha injured in mishap

AGASSAIM: A pedestrian from Goa Velha was injured after he was knocked down by a car opposite the Zuari petrol pump at Goa Velha.

According to Agassaim Police, the car (GA-09-U-5542) was proceeding from Agassaim to Bambolim when it dashed against the pedestrian, Kishan Yogi, while he was crossing the road opposite Zuari petrol pump at Goa Velha. Yogi sustained a fracture in the mishap and Agassaim police is investigating the case.

Scooter stolen at PondaPONDA: A scooter was reported stolen from an open parking lot at Khandepar-Ponda on Thursday. According to Ponda Police, Vishwas Naik from Vagurem, Savoi-Verem, complained that some person stole a Honda Eterno scooter (GA-08-D 3604), which was parked at an open space near Diamond hotel in Khandepar-Ponda. Ponda Police is investigating the case.
