Pedestrian injured at Goa Velha

AGASSAIM: A 26-year-old pedestrian from Kolkatta was injured after he was knocked down by a tempo at the by-pass junction in Goa Velha.

According to Agassaim Police, the tempo (GA-03-N-7625) was proceeding from Agassaim to Bambolim when it dashed against the pedestrian, Vishwajit Pal, due to which he sustained injuries. Police is investigating the case.

Scooter robbed, plaint filedPONDA: A scooter was reported stolen from an open parking space at Tisk-Ponda. According to Ponda Police, Datta Phadte from Durbhat-Ponda complained that on March 15, between 1.30 pm and 1.40 pm, some person stole his Access 125 scooter (GA-05-K-7051). The complainant stated that after searching for his scooter he finally lodged a complaint on June 7.Police registered an offence under Section 379 of Indian Penal Code and is investigating the case.
