As people came o+ut to vote in large numbers, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo voiced his optimism regarding the resounding support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Lobo, emphasising the public’s trust in Modi’s commitment to the welfare of the nation, particularly the marginalised, highlighted the massive turnout as a testament to the Prime Minister’s popularity.
“People have come out in large numbers to vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has concern for the people of India, particularly the downtrodden,” remarked Lobo, echoing sentiments shared by many within the BJP.
He further underscored Modi’s role in propelling India toward economic supremacy, asserting, “The PM will lead this country to the strongest economy in the world.”
In a nod to the aspirations of the populace, Lobo emphasised the multifaceted benefits envisioned under Modi’s leadership.
“People see Modi as the PM who will give employment opportunities to the poor. People have voted to see that this country gets ration, food, clothing, shelter, and toilet facilities. People will also get pucca houses,” he elaborated.
