Platography printmaking workshop ends
PANAJI: The workshop on platography printmaking conducted by Ajit Seal, senior printmaker of India and the head of department of Graphic Art at Kala Bhavan “Visva Bharati Shantiniketan, West Bengal concluded on August 29, at the Graphic Studio, Sanskruti Bhavan, Panaji. This was the first workshop of the printmaking workshop series organized by Directorate of Art and Culture.
The director of Art and Culture, Prasad Lolayekar was the chief guest for the function. He informed that the directorate had taken the initiative to organize a series of printmaking workshops designed to benefit practicing fine artists and student of Fine Arts.
During the seven-day workshop, attended by fourteen practicing fine artists and six students of Fine Arts, Ajit demonstrated the process of advance printmaking medium of platography printmaking.
Assistant cultural officer Siddharth Gaitonde proposed the vote of thanks while Yogish Joshi compered the programme.
