VASCO

Goa State Industries Association (GSIA) claimed to have played the role of a catalyst in the meeting between the State government and Tata Sons to understand the diverse employment requirements of Goa.

In a press release, GSIA President Damodar Kochkar said the GSIA had identified Tata Sons as a group which has a presence in every sector of industry and operates at the highest level of integrity.

"Creating tailor-made employment in the next generation businesses without disturbing the environment and demographic pattern in the State has been a key focus of the meeting.

GSIA considers connecting Chairman of Tata Sons N Chandrashekharan along with Noel Tata and his top CEOs to the State government as a big milestone in their achievements," said Kochkar.

"The Tata Chairman, impressed upon the eagerness of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho and their holistic approach towards employment generation, promised to immediately plan an internal meeting with their top CEOs to promote new generation businesses for Goa," said Kochkar.
