Addressing a news conference at Hirabai Zantye Memorial hall Bicholim, IMA’s Goa State branch president Dr Medha Salkar said as per the Prime Minister’s PMSMY, the Indian Medical Association Goa State has decided to act swiftly, thereby deciding to make available a gynecologist at PHC Bicholim on 9th of every
month and it will be effective from March 9.
Dr Shekhar Salkar informed that IMA is implementing such type of scheme for the first time in Goa for the benefit of pregnant women and newly wed couples as per the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
