Porvorim Police recover stolen scooter

PORVORIM

Police Inspector Rahul Parab of Porvorim Police Station reported that Nahush Lotlikar of Canca, Parra, filed a complaint after his new Honda scooter, which he had parked on 11 July 2024 outside Croma Showroom in Porvorim due to a breakdown, went missing.

After two days, Lotlikar noticed his scooter was gone and approached the police. Through technical investigation and reliable information, Porvorim police traced the scooter and arrested the accused, Louis Agnel D’Costa, a 24-year-old from Yellapur, Karwar, currently residing in Porvorim. 

D’Costa has been charged under Section 303(2) of the BNS Act, 2023. The stolen scooter has been recovered.

D’Costa has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.

Further investigation is ongoing under PSI Akash Chodankar, supervised by PI Rahul Parab and SDPO Vishwesh Karpe.
