The South Goa Sessions Court trying the power rebate scam case has issued fresh summons to the 10 witnesses to depose in the case.
The fresh summons was issued by Sessions Judge Irshad Agha after prosecution drew attention of the Judge that the summons issued to the 10 witnesses has returned back unserved.
The Court has also granted time to the prosecution to secure the presence of witnesses, who have retired. The investigation officer has been permitted to obtain the detailed addresses from the Accounts Department of the witnesses in the case.
The matter has been adjourned to August 11.
