The South Goa Sessions Court has issued summons to the handwriting expert, Hyderabad for examination in the Power rebate scam case allegedly involving then Power Minister Mauvin Godinho.
Even as the prosecution has informed the Court that two more witnesses cited in the case have expired, the Court has directed the Investigation Officer to remain present in the Court room on all dates of hearing from March 15.
When the matter came up before Sessions Judge Irshad Agha, the prosecution submitted that two witnesses summoned in the case have expired.
The Court has cancelled the non-bailable warrant issued against an accused in the case, with the accused asked to furnish a bail bond of Rs 20,000.
