Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Pratima Coutinho has on Wednesday tendered her resignation from the primary membership of the Arvind Kejriwal led party.
The resignation comes a day after Pratima was appointed to the post of state vice-president by the party leadership. The resignation has cut short Pratima’s association with AAP which she had joined in the run up to the 2022 Assembly polls.
After emailing her resignation to AAP National Convener Arvind Kejrival, Pratima has vowed to continue her work for the people of Goa and for the betterment of the State.
In her resignation letter, Pratima said the decision has not been made hastily, but after careful consideration of her personal and professional goals.
