Pre-monsoon works have officially begun in both Fatrade wards, Varca village on Sunday in the presence of Varca Sarpanch Flavia Barretto, besides panchayat members and local residents.
As part of the pre-monsoon works carried out at the initiative of Warren Alemao, the work includes de-silting of water bodies, besides drains.
Addressing the gathering, Warrn said the work has been launched with one mission -- To serve the people and PROTECT Our Environment.
“From desilting ponds to cleaning drains, every step is taken in the interest of our farmers, environment and our very future”, he said.
He thanked the Sarpanch of Varca Village Panchayat Flavia Barreto, Ex-Sarpanch & Panch Roland Fernandes and the supportive locals of Fatrade.
Sarpanch Flavia and Panch member Roland has thanked Warren for his initiative by taking the Panchayat and the members into confidence.
