Promotion of drama at Sakhali today

The Bicholim-based Ashtagandha Drama Sanstha has decided to promote two traditional dramas on May 14 and 15, to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the Sanstha.

This was informed by Sanstha members at a news briefing.

“The Ashtagandha Drama Sanstha has completed 21 years and during this time, it has promoted 14 traditional dramas in Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka Sangali, Nasik, Delhi and other states and has taken part in competitions, winning several prizes,” said Digambar Parab.

The Sanstha has decided promote two dramas. ‘Sangeet Saubhadra’ will be staged at Ravindra Bhavan Sakhali on May 14, while ‘Saushaykallol’ will be staged on May 15

at Hanuman Natyamandir, Mapusa. TGN
