Congress MLA Reginaldo Lourenco on Monday urged Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to investigate into the scams that have hit the urban credit cooperative societies, punish the culprits involved in the misappropriation of funds and recover the money at the earliest.

Reginaldo said it is high time that all the issues in Satteri Urban Cooperative Credit Society along with other scams that have engulfed in various credit cooperative societies of the State including Visionary
Urban Co-operative Credit Society, Goa State Cooperative Bank needs to be properly investigated and all those culprits involved must be punished and all recoveries should be recovered from them at the earliest.
