Sounding caution, PWD Minister Digambar Kamat on Thursday made a fervent plea to the people of Goa for the judicious use of water due to the delayed monsoons.
“Please avoid wastage of water. We see how people waste water while washing cars on the roads. This not only results in water wastage, but the activity of washing vehicles also leave the roads damaged”, he said.
“My humble plea to the people to use water judiciously. The rains have still not arrived. Stop wastage of water”, he said, while saying that the rains are expected to hit in the state within five days.
