Congress leader Janardhan Bhandari on Sunday asked a PWD supervisor to carry out a quality check of the hot mixing of road work on the national highway in the presence of all.
Bhandari with the help of his supporters has been keeping a close tab on various developmental works being carried out in the constituency. He even managed to get some works suspended citing quality-control standards.
On Sunday, Bhandari was personally seen monitoring the hot-mixing work on Canacona-Margao NH. Bhandari asked the PWD engineer supervising the works to check the gauge of the hot-mixing work in front of him to check the quality and standard of the work.
