MARGAO
Flood water entered houses at Paroda, the second time since the time the state was hit by pre-monsoon showers.
The beleaguered residents had to wade through knee deep water to make their way into their houses. They have attributed the flooding to the land filling activities carried out by people as a result of which water flows right into their houses.
An elderly woman told the media that this is the second time in the last few days that the two houses have been inundated by rain water.
“The officials have come and inspected the situation, but there is no relief till date. We hope the authorities will find a way out to stop the rain water inundated their houses”, the woman said.
