Believe it or not, Singh (50) had reportedly visited Goa in August shortly before he was arrested and his busy schedule in the State had included a medical check-up, shopping and beach tourism.
According to media reports, Singh along with Honeypreet Kaur Insan had visited the State and had stayed at a starred resort.
Singh along with Honeypreet Kaur Insan had visited a reputed hospital in Margao for a check up following his back pain.
While in Goa, Singh had also visited Panaji and shopped at a mall, besides other shops near the Old Custom's office. He had also booked a special boat to explore the famed coast.
This information came to light during a raid conducted by the Haryana Police following Singh's arrest, when they found records of a hospital at Margao in his car. It was then disclosed that Singh had undergone a health check-up for his back pain in Margao.
The record had also stated that a doctor had recommended him 15 days of rest. The hospital record had included details of the Margao hospital as well as names of the patient and doctor.
The Haryana police have seized the Margao hospital record and other documents, as part of investigations relating to the Dera chief.
According to reports, Singh had also been provided with ‘Z' security during his stay in Goa.
When contacted, hospital officials in Margao were unable to provide details of Singh's visit to the hospital.
