Ram Bhakts from Canacona have decided to hold the Shree Ram Rath Yatra across Canacona taluka on the eve of Ramnavmi on Saturday.
The Ram Rath Yatra will begin from Shree Sausthan Gokarna Partagali Jivottam Mutt, Partagal after the Stapana and Puja at 7.30 am taking along Ram Lala along the streets of Canacona and to about 16 Devalayas in the taluka.
The schedule timeline of the yatra will be Shree Saunsthan Gokarna Partagali Jivottam Mutt (8 am), Shree Parshuram Temple, Poinguinium (8.15 am),Shree Laxmi Narayan Temple, Poinguinium (8:30 am), Shree Nirakar Temple Mashem (Alpahaar) (9 am), Shree Keshav Damodar Temple, Loliem (9.30 am), Shree Vitthal Rakhumai Temple, Rajbagh-Tarir (10.15 am), Shree Devagipurush Temple, Patnem (10.45 am), Bhumi Purush, Palolem (11.15 am), Shree Saraswati Temple, Dessaiwada-Agonda (12.10), Shree Vitthal Rakhumai Temple, Dhavalkhazan-Agonda (12:30 pm), Shree Vitthal Rakhumai Temple, Saleri-Khola (1.00 pm), Shree Lakhaneshwar Temple, Mudkud-Agonda (Maha aarti, Mahaprasad) (1:30pm), Hanuman Devasthan, Karashiramol-Agonda (2.45 pm), Shree Bhumipurush temple, Gulem (3.15 pm), Shree Maruti Temple, Chaudi, 4:00pm Shree Mallikarjun Temple, Shristhal (3:30 pm) and Shree Saunsthan Gokarna Partagali Jivottam Mutt (4.30 pm).
Addressing a news conference at Tarir, Ram Rath Yatra Convenor Pankaj Naik Gaunkar along with core committee members informed the Ram Lala will be taken on a motorcade, while the participating devotees will follow on motorbikes and cars along the route.
