Stating that for the last eight weeks Covid testing has remained static, the Aam Aadmi Party has asked that State government to ramp up testing facilities and stop making false promises to the people of Goa.
“In a span of eight weeks, the number of active cases has tripled while Covid deaths went up by four times in the last week. The average number of testing per day has remained the same while the average number of Covid positive cases per day has increased 2.5 times,” said Rahul Mhambre, interim convenor of AAP.
Accusing the health minister of making false promises to people of Goa, Mahambre said the Covid kits promised by the government was yet to reach the patients who are under home isolation.
