Former CM and Poriem MLA Pratapsingh Rane has challenged BJP to mention any project undertaken by the party’s government in Sattari taluka.
Addressing corner meetings in various areas of Poriem constituency in support of Congress candidate Girish Chodankar, Rane alleged that BJP government had failed on all fronts and were only involved in raising slogans.
He alleged that BJP government first halted mining operations in Goa and had failed to resume it thereby affecting the livelihood of lakhs of people. He appealed to the people to vote and elect the dynamic Chodankar as the next MP and to give him a chance to serve the people.
Girish Chodankar and former Pissurlem sarpanch Sagun Wadkar also spoke. Later, Chodankar campaigned in Priol Assembly segment.
